Admissions Policy
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences aims to nurture individuals who can contribute practically to regional communities and to the international community; who have professional knowledge and skills concerning humanity, culture, society, and the environment; and who can understand from a comprehensive viewpoint the problems of contemporary society that are related to the considerable changes brought about by globalization.
To that end, the Faculty is looking for candidates who have the following abilities and qualifications:
- The capacity to think logically and basic academic skills related to humanity, culture, society, and the environment
- The motivation to learn broadly about the state of humanity, culture, society, and the environment and their related problems
- A positive attitude toward discussing their own ideas, accompanied by flexibility in understanding different views and diverse ways of thinking
- Enthusiasm about contributing to and tackling, in a practical manner, a variety of issues faced by regional communities and the international community
